Secret Emchy Society
Queer Country
The Backpedallers
Solid country music featuring members of the Gossamer Strings and Minor Mirage
Secret Emchy Society has been named by TheBoot.com as one of the Ten Queer Country Bands for Real Country Music Fans to Listen To, a triple nominee for Best Live Band by the Bay Area Reporter, and landed in End of Year 'Best Of' lists from No Depression, Concert Hopper, and the Atlanta Auditory Association. Their raw, honest, and authentic listening experience is a welcome middle finger to modern country, offering up a brand of smoke-filled honky-tonk that's traditional as they come -- albeit delivered with a fiery, punk disposition.
"One could describe Emch as if Nick Cave had grown up in Bakersfield with a dynamic swagger that could part the Red Sea." - NoDepression

Bart Budwig
Cosmic country. With trumpet.
Graham Farrow Knibb
He sounds like John Prine, plays like Hoyt Axton, and looks like well...Bart Budwig. He’s a cosmic country lawn gnome. He’s cherubic, cheery, and an old soul. Songs spring from the dreams of his noonday naps, and punch the keys of his typewriter above the OK Theater in Enterprise, Oregon. When words won’t take, he calls 'em in with a bugle of his trumpet, or a strum of soothing guitar.
“Bart Budwig is one of the most underrated musicians in Oregon.” - Oregon Public Broadcasting

That's right; we are all going to be wearing fishnets. Because - it's Fishnet Friday! Duh. Plus, expect unusual things to be in the bar, because it's also Friday the 13th. That's all we'll say about that right now.
The Latter Day Skanks are a punk band from Portland comprised of three cross-dressing former Mormons that wanna blow your mind and rock your ass. ""Bring your naughty self to a show and leave your morals, inhibitions and virginity at the door. "
Eugene's Bad Luck Blackouts formed in 2010, and quickly shot to the top of the Eugene punk scene. Their new-old-school fast and dynamic tunes are well complimented by the band’s ability to bring in crowds and have them singing along – long after the show ends.
Security in Numbers started playing shows in 1997 back in Reno Nevada where they started. They have released 10 studio albums since '97 and are getting ready to drop their 11th studio album later this year. Unity! Unity! Unity!

Where have all the riot grrrls gone? You ask – Miesha & The Spanks answer. A modern singer/guitarist and beloved fixture on the local scene, frontwoman Miesha Louie is the integral driving force behind Miesha & The Spanks. A mixed-Secwépemc artist living in Treaty 7 Territory, she’s devoted her entire career to inventing and playing instrumentally brilliant melodies that unleash her passions and her full-throated vocal tones.
“Filled with a sizeable dosage of feel-good vibes peppered with a dash of teenage angst, “I Can’t Wait” delivers the gritty groove our summer playlists deserve — while still managing to maintain a thread of infectious optimism.” - Wonderland Magazine
